NostaLens Privacy Policy

NostaLens turns your photos and videos into nostalgic, film-inspired looks. This policy explains what happens to your content and device information when you use the app, and applies to the current version published on the App Store by AutumnSun.

NostaLens has no account system, does not require you to sign in, and does not sell personal data.

Filters are rendered locally on your device. Photos and videos you capture, import, or filter in NostaLens are not uploaded to our servers and are not analyzed by us for their visual content.

We do not perform facial recognition or extract biometric data from your media, and the app does not read your precise location or contacts.

NostaLens requests iOS permissions only when a related feature needs them. You can review or change any of these at any time in iOS Settings → NostaLens.

• Camera

  Used to capture photos and video directly in NostaLens so nostalgic film-style filters can be applied in real time.

  You can still import existing photos and videos from your library, but you will not be able to shoot new content from within the app.

• Photos and Media Library

  Used to let you pick existing photos or videos to apply a filter to, and to save the filtered result back to your library.

  You can still use the camera to shoot and filter content, but importing existing media and saving results to your library will not be available.

• Microphone

  Used only when recording video with sound, so the original audio can be kept alongside the applied filter.

  Video recorded in the app will have no sound. Photo filtering is not affected.

We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage in aggregate and to diagnose crashes. These tools may process technical information such as app events, device model, iOS version, IP address, app configuration, and crash logs. This information is used to fix bugs and improve NostaLens, and is not linked to any account since the app has none.

Any one-time purchases or subscriptions offered in NostaLens are billed and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may share limited, non-financial transaction or entitlement status with us so the app can unlock the features you purchased.

If you email us for support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use this only to answer your request and improve the app, and we do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.

NostaLens may contain links to third-party sites, such as Apple support pages. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those destinations.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because NostaLens has no account system and the analytics data we receive generally cannot be tied back to a specific person, we are often unable to locate or delete individual records inside those logs.

For information we do directly control, such as a support email you sent us, contact autumnsunapp@gmail.com and we will review and respond within a reasonable time. You can also limit data collection at any time by revoking permissions in iOS Settings or by deleting the app.

NostaLens is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support email, contact us so we can review and remove it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as NostaLens, our service providers, or applicable law changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
